1The outbreak
The Devil Worm parasite has turned most of humanity into the Ridden. The Cleaners are veterans who push out from a safe camp to take territory back.
2How you survive
Before each run you build a deck of cards that grant perks, and the AI director plays its own corruption cards against you. Missions mix shooting, objectives and crafting quick upgrades between levels.
3Alone or together
Up to four players play online in co-op, with bots for missing players, and there is a separate PvP mode. Cross-play is supported. There is no split-screen on PC.
4Look & sound
Gunplay is punchy and the special Ridden are easy to read. The art style is clean, with more colour than most zombie shooters.
5Setup & value
It lists at $59.99 and runs on Windows. Steam lists it as Playable on Steam Deck. The developers have ended major updates, so the content is final.
