Solo or co-op: which zombie games are better together?
Some zombie games are designed for a squad, others are scarier alone. Here is how our exhibits split.
1Built for a squad
World War Z: Aftermath and Back 4 Blood are designed around four players, with clear roles and bots filling empty slots. They are at their best with friends.
2Better with friends
Dying Light, 7 Days to Die and State of Decay 2 are excellent alone but become something else in co-op: more chaos, more stories, more laughing.
3Best alone
Resident Evil 2 is single-player and much scarier that way. They Are Billions and Infection Free Zone are single-player strategy games.
4Check before you buy
